Bihor
Bastion Bihor is situated 10km north from Berane.  The remains of the city are placed on an altitude of approximately 1050m, on a partial rocky hill in inter - flow of Lim and its confluent Ljesnica.  The city is built on a dominant place and it really “ruled” with one big part of the valley of Lim and brooks that flow into it.
The name Bihor is mentioned 1450 in one document from Dubrovnik’s Archive “In Loco Vocato”.  One can, though, assume that the city of Bihor was built long ago before it was mentioned in it. The Turks conquered Bihor in 1455. During the half of The XVIth century, according to Turkish sources, in the Fortress beside cold-blooded weapon there was cannons, rifles and the rest of the necessary tools, and the garrison counted 26 men The fortress nowadays is in a ruined condition, its walls are partially preserved, up to the height of 3 meters. On the field one can identify the remaining of three towers and a water pump. You cannot precisely say where the entrance into the city is.  But with great certainty one can determine that on the plateau which was needed for one to pass over in order to enter the Bastion there were shutters, because of the remainings of an old cemetery , watershed and shrouds, so as water spring.  And today’s village, whose houses are spread around this area carries the name Podgrade
.
